North East Link Toll Road – Community Forum.

North East Link Forum Tile

Join us at the Watsonia Library Community Room on Tuesday 10th February, 6:30pm, for the North East Link Toll Road Community Forum.

Spark Consortium commenced construction of the North East Link Toll Road in 2022. In the four years since, the project has destroyed wildlife habitat, polluted local waterways and the air, and resulted in sinkholes opening up in areas close to homes. Residents are frustrated by the lack of transparency around this project and want answers as to whether Victorian government and their construction partner are handling this project responsibly and safely.

Residents have raised these concerns with local MPs and Premier Jacinta Allan, but so far, we’ve yet to receive a satisfactory response. If we want real outcomes, we need to make our voices heard.

Join us to discuss the future of the North East Link Toll Road, and the steps we can take to deliver the best outcomes for our community.

We also want to hear your concerns and how this project is impacting you.

The forum will be hosted by your local Greens MP for the North East Metro region: Aiv Puglielli.

We’ll hear from a diverse panel of experts, including Michelle Giovas (Friends of Banyule President), James Deane (Warringal Conservation Society President) and Barry Watson (Local campaigner).

Please be sure to RSVP to let us know you’re attending the North East Link Forum!
