Everyone deserves well paid, secure and rewarding work if they want it. 

This means equality, from the hiring process, to how people are treated in the workplace, to making reasonable adjustments for those that need them.

Big business consistently attacks the dignity and rights of workers, in a race to the bottom to increase their profits.

They want employees working like robots to increase productivity.

They want a casual workforce that they can discard at any time, but without things like casual loading or overtime pay.

They want you to have less time off, less public holidays, less work life balance. 

The Greens are advocating for:

• Eliminating workplace discrimination in all forms
• Reducing the gap between the richest and the poorest by raising minimum wage to 60% of the median full time wage and capping the wages of CEOs and taxing the billionaires.
• Giving all workers- including casual workers- sick leave and 5 weeks of annual leave
• Protecting and increasing penalty rates, overtime pay and casual loading
