The escalator connecting the Box Hill bus interchange to the Box Hill shopping centre has been broken for months.
This is one of the busiest bus terminals in metro Melbourne.
It is used by at least 15 bus routes and a busy tram route.
But it is now inaccessible to many people, including elderly people.
It should be a priority of PTV to make sure everyone can access and use public transport.
Fixing this escalator should be a matter of urgency for PTV.
