Community Questions

There has been a reported rise in criminal activity in and around the Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre.

Some of which have been attributed to young people who are disconnected and disengaged from their school and community.

We know that young people who feel connected to their community.

Who are engaged with school, their hobbies, friends and family.

Are much less likely to behave antisocially or get involved in criminal activity.

We need to fund more programs that support young people and keep them engaged in local communities to stop crime running rampant in the area.
